Christantus Uche Sparks Dominant Palace Victory at Shelbourne.

Despite embarking on their first-ever European adventure, Crystal Palace are adapting very quickly. Without key figures like forward Jean-Philippe Mateta and defender Daniel Muñoz, the Eagles left Dublin with a comfortable win that virtually guarantees them a spot in the Europa Conference League qualifying rounds.

A further three points in their upcoming fixture against Finland's KuPS ought to be enough to seal direct entry to the knockout stages, especially after a prior stumble against Strasbourg.

The youngster was desperately unlucky later on, seeing one attempt crash off each posts before being clasped on the line. Uche also blazed a glaring chance, showing there is still scope for development in his game.

A solitary concern for Palace was a late knock to Justin Devenny, who limped off. This paved the way for 17-year-old striker Benji Casey to earn his senior debut, capping an otherwise perfect evening for the visiting side.
